The Building Official may authorize refunding of a fee paid hereunder which was erroneously
paid or collected. The Building Official may authorize refunding of not more than
80 percent of the permit or plan review fee paid when no work or plan examination
has been done under an application or permit issued in accordance with this code,
provided a written refund application is filed by the original permittee prior to
the expiration of the permit.
